Low-light identification for patrol handoff
Thermal finds the body. A daylight / low-light EO channel with real zoom is what the patrol uses to decide who they are walking toward.
A storage night shift cannot launch on every heat blob. Dual-spectrum and multi-sensor PTZ units keep an identification channel on the same payload: once thermal cues, the EO lens should already be on the sector with enough focal length for a face, a plate, or a uniform at the fence.
We list platforms where the EO and thermal are boresighted — not two cameras the operator has to pan separately while the contact walks off the yard.
Field note
Prefer dual-spectrum / multi-sensor PTZ for dock and gate sectors. Check the datasheet for EO focal length at your handoff distance, not only thermal detection range.
