Explosion-proof housings where the zone requires it
If the plot plan says Zone 1 or Class I, a standard PTZ is the wrong buy. We list explosion-rated thermal and EO/IR payloads for the classified side of the fence.
Depot and refinery cameras often sit on the safe side of the dike and look in. Sometimes they must sit in the zone. Those SKUs are a different housing, a different certification line, and a different quote — not a sticker on a city camera.
Tell us the zone and the gas group. We will not recommend a non-rated core into a classified area to win a price.
Field note
State the hazardous-area rating in the quote request. Only explosion-rated SKUs will be shortlisted for in-zone masts.
